Time running out

With only a few days to go, we took to the roads to explore some parts of our neighbourhood that we had been neglecting, like the smelly, sulfurous waters of Bagni San Filippoand our local big mountain, Monte Amiata (as seen in this earlier photo), topped by its famous Madonna of the underpants

And then, with only a couple of days to go, a visit from the Georgakas' on their own European expedition
